Another lazy summer day on the lake
Of the peace, and the quiet I partake
And while away some time that in years
Before were only dreams and wishes.

While they’re not leviathans, they’re sure fun to catch
18 inches, 4 1/2 lbs, this was a nice one
Some of my usual “fishin’ buddies
Looks like it’s time to quit fishin’ and go to the house for supper
************************
I don’t keep the fish I catch. I just release them back to the lake so I can have the pleasure of catching them again. I did a lot of work on the house and yard this spring and summer, making it an attractive and livable place. In my free moments, the lake, the boat, and a fishin’ pole were adequate recreation and a nice, quiet, relaxing pastime. Yes, I did take a break from writing anything, but that was long overdue. As we head into autumn I’ll be here more often.
If we are neighbors, I would have cooked the fish you caught.
Stay safe Paul

watching the wind blow, sunny but cold (was 29F when I walked Dakota this morning) here in Texas, I enjoyed wandering in your Autumn day, 🙂 nice catch, and nicer that you threw him back…
Hope all is well in your neck of the world….
Take Care…You Matter…

All is not well,Mary. 29deg was warm compared to what I was greeted with this morning. It was 9deg up here in the Great Lakes and only made it to 21deg today. Gonna be a long, cold winter I’m afraid. 😤 Nice to hear from you. Hope all is well with you. ❄⛄❄
What a peaceful day it must have been. Hope the weather is treating you kindly, Papabear. 🙂

Right back to you, Cindy 😊🎣
