Now for 7 things about me:
- I had a heart transplant 3+ years ago
- I grew up on a farm
- I always wanted to be a teacher (History, Literature, Art)
- I had read the Arthurian legends and Greek, Roman, and Norse Mythology by the time I was 9 years old.
- My favorite place in the world is on a white sand beach (anywhere), sitting under a palm tree, watching a glorious sunset
- My favorite artists are Monet and Renoir
- My father was Irish/English, and my mother was Dutch/Prussian.

Lily, the surgery started at 6:pm that evening and by 8:30 the next morining I was sitting up in a chair, eating breakfast. The following day I was up and walking the hallways. I was in therapy for about 2 weeks and since then it’s been great. I am doing things I couldn’t do for more than 20yrs.
Wow that recovery sounds way better than when I sprained my ankle a few months ago. It’s still not normal! Glad to hear that it went well for you 🙂
