This Special Edition is for the benefit and pleasure of a select few pioneers who reside in the near wilderness
in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains and are concerned about 60 degree weather. At the time these pics were
taken (4:p.m. 1/22/2013) the outside air temp was 4 deg over a fresh 6″ snow cover here, at the foot of Lake Michigan.
By the way folks, cross country skiing on this was wonderful…, not that I’m trying to rub it in or anything.

Sweet Dreams
Sleep doesn’t come as I close my eyes
I still see the moonlit starry skies
And hear the faint melody of the band inside
As we dance on the beautiful balcony outside
Another slow waltz, as we glide ‘cross the floor
And quietly slip away through the veranda’s back door
Was not in our mind to spend the night at a dance
When under the moonlight we dreamed of romance.

How I love the emotional drive I find in your ‘good night editions’. The immersion into a place where whispers exist and all is right with the world.
Was not our intent to spend the night in dance…
Isn’t amazing how sometimes what we expect is outdone by the unexpected and the moment is all the more beautiful for it?
I love to read your work.
So much love to you Paul. ~ Sheri
… et retourné à vous, beaucoup.

“And quietly slip away through the veranda’s back door”, I love this line so much…. it’s lovely and romantic.
Thank you Paul.
