Contemporary Noise   2 comments

In the hurried crush

Of the everyday rush

The cacaphony of life

Seems sadly rife (with noise)

With all the demands

Of each day’s shifting sands

A confusion reigns

And the heart knows no peace

Where have we gone so wrong?

Have we lost the music of the song

And the happy mirth of laughter?

To drudgery condemned everafter?
